I work on a dry cleaning service, a family business. Recently, while counting the pieces ready to be delivered, the idea occurred to me to randomly check some items. Guess what? The quality of some pieces was embarrassing. I could not believe my eyes. However, instead of blowing a gasket at the responsible party, I calmly brought it to the presser's attention and told her that it was apparently a million mistakes because of course she never sends it so bad. And then I did the same thing again every day for the next week. It was like finding a termite: you only find one initially, but dig a little and you hit the jackpot. That's when I decided to write this article. This is around a topic: If you do not intentionally check the quality, you are not providing quality. If you do not ensure that your product or service is above grade, your customers will find out the quality of your competition sales. Let's look at each question a little more closely:

Is the product or service something I would give to my loved ones or friends?

This is another version of the "Golden Rule" for treating others as you would treat yourself, but in fact, I treat my friends and loved ones a little better. When I do a quality assurance check, I ask myself if I would feel embarrassed or proud to show this product to those close to me. If there is any doubt, I do it again. Thinking of our customers as our loved ones rather than "complaining people" goes a long way in ensuring customer retention.

Is the product or service going to keep my current customers, or remove them?

This is a natural follow-up to the first question. Quality Assurance Courses for Beginners in itself is great, but we need to keep the goal in mind: keeping our customers in mind. This is the easiest way to maintain our job security. Are we providing a product or service that will make our customers loyal? If not, we cannot forget that we are not the only fish in the pond. Loyal customers will not even give me the time of day. Why not? Because they are getting quality where they are, and you cannot put a price on trust.

Is the product or service enough to win new business?

This is also out of the previous question. When a customer changes vendors, no matter what the product in question is, it is usually because they are either gone or they are dissatisfied. If a restaurant continues to burn your food, you will look elsewhere. It is the same in any business. While consistently delivering quality products and services, as long as you shine above your competition, your customers will tell others about you and you will reap the benefits in the long run. Maybe it's a stretch, maybe not, but would you honestly write home about the type of quality you deliver to your customers? Will you send an email back to your parents or family home, bragging about the product you give to your customers every day? If not, then why not? Make the necessary changes to do so, get your team head back into the game, and make sure you do whatever it takes to get some bragging rights around the city.
